Game Toybox

Privacy Policy

Short version: we don't ask who you are, and your scores stay on your device.

Effective date: October 9, 2026

Game Toybox (gametoybox.com) is a free games site for all ages. This policy explains, in plain language, what information is involved when you visit, and what choices you have. In short, we don't ask who you are and we don't collect personal information about you.

No accounts, no sign-up

You don't need an account to play, and we never ask for your name, email address or any other personal details to use the games.

Cookies

Game Toybox itself does not set any cookies. If we show ads in the future, our advertising partners may use cookies, as explained in the "Advertising" section below.

Game progress & high scores

Your game progress, settings and high scores are saved only in your own browser, using a browser feature called local storage. That data stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can delete it whenever you like by clearing your browser's site data for gametoybox.com.

Anonymous play counter

To see which games people enjoy, we keep a simple anonymous counter. Each time a game starts, it records only:

We do not store IP addresses, browser or device details (user agents) or any personal information in this counter. We can't use it to tell who played.

Hosting

Game Toybox is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like most web hosts, Cloudflare may process standard request information (such as IP addresses in server logs) to deliver the site, keep it secure and keep it running. You can read how Cloudflare handles data in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Advertising

Game Toybox is free, and we plan to support it by showing ads through Google AdSense. When ads are shown:

Visitors in some regions, such as the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, may be asked for consent before personalized ads or advertising cookies are used.

Children's privacy

Game Toybox is made to be enjoyed by players of all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The games don't ask for names, emails, photos or other personal details, and there are no chat or sharing features.

When we turn on ads, we intend to set them up for child-directed and non-personalized treatment where appropriate, so kids are not shown ads based on their browsing.

Parents and guardians: if you believe your child has given us personal information, please contact us (a contact page is coming soon) and we will work to delete it.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or California's CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to:

Because we don't collect personal information ourselves, there usually isn't anything about you for us to look up. Still, you're always welcome to contact us with a request or question, and we'll do our best to help. For ad-related choices, you can use Google Ads Settings at any time.

Links to other sites

This site may link to other websites, such as Google or Cloudflare. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when ads go live. We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date above.
